I took this photo very quickly as the subjects were moving around and the sunlight was diminishing. Tourists usually take photos of women in kimonos but rarely do we get to see couples. I thought it would be interesting to shine the light on them as well. In Kyoto, the Keage Incline is famous for it’s Sakura trees but this beautiful and poetic couple is already enough of a spectacle.
